The fleece shed

All Sheep are winter shorn, once per year.  This occurs at the end of July or early August, prelamb, to ensure that our craft fleece are top quality and absolutely sound for hand worsted spinning.  Fleeces are clean with no vegetation.  The staple length is between 4 and 5 inches (10 to 12 cm) in length. Fleece weights vary between 2 - 3 kgs. (4.5 - 6.5 lbs) Price is $10 per kg plus freight
